Story is set in 1963, before some friends are shipped to Vietnam. They play a dirty game called 'Dogfight': All of them seek a woman for a party, and who finds the most ugly one, wins a prize. But games may turn around... This is not my rip; I found it on another site using PirateBay's tracker, so I thought it should be represented here. Widescreen 608x336, good stereo sound. Warning: MediaInfo refuses to give an accurate analysis of the picture size for this rip. It runs well in WMP on the computer and in one of my standalone DivX players, but is refused by the other standalone player. Run it through Dr. DivX or some other program if you have to.

Why am I getting "got bad file info-bad bencoded data" when I try to download?

jdn108 - I have never seen that error message before, must be something wrong at your end. I downloaded this torrent myself and it behaved normally. I then checked the file, burned it and played it on my standalone player.
If you google (copy and paste without quotation marks) "bittornado error bad bencoded data" you will see that this is caused by BitTornado, which I don't use. There you'll also find some suggestions.
If I get error messages when OPENING a torrent, I first just save it and then open it from the disc. That often helps.

Just a bit of trivia.... David Letterman.... yes the famous evening late show host/former weather man... ANYWAY.. he went to BAL State college in the US... He was in the Fraternity of SIGMA CHI.... They had a similar "gag" (not funny to me") where at one ofhte frat houses many parties, (I do not know which of the many parties that were held in there frat house each year.) ANYWAY.... At one of these parties, there was a "contest" known only to the frat members and the winner was only announced after the party on the following day. However... the contest was this: "To see which FRAT brother could get the UGLIEST DATE to attend the frat house party" The frat brother that won would win a pool of cash money. OBVIOUSLY, these DATES (various wemon) NEVER were aware that the only reason they were there was basically due to a huge JOKE and only because they were seen as UGLY as HELL!! pretty sad... WELL the story is that DAVID LETTERMAN would goto EXTREMES to Win... The example that is now FAMOUS and even mythological status was one such party where LETTERMAN was seen arriving from the windows of the house. The other frat members, knowing his extreme competitive nature were always on ALERT when LETTERMAN arrived.... In Infamous instantance, as he got out of his car, he walked to the trunk and was seen removing a Wheel Chair.... HE had actually gone to a center where people stay that are severly Retarded and need assited living. LETTERMAN as the story goes, LIED to the staff of this facility and was allowed to take this grotessly physically retarded and metally retarded, disfigured woman out of the facility by making the staff believe his fratenity was giving back to the community by taking a disabled person out to a movie (something that the residence of this assisted living facility would certinally feel was a treat), under this GUISE, he was given permission to escort this unfortunate woman out to eat and a movie. When the reality was that letterman took this disfigured, physically and mentally retarded woman to his frat house to "HANDS DOWN" win the contest of bringing the UGLIEST DATE TO THE PARTY CONTEST".... This story, as I mentioned is told to the SIGMA CHI frat boys to this day as if it was a "GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENT".... pretty sad in my humble opinion.... just thought people checking out this movie might find this story interesting....This movie is about a similar contest/situation....take care all, sincerely, dlarrym
